Bird's nest corners and fragments, wholesale from Malaysia
Corners, fragments and nest cakes: house-nest material selected during cleaning and grading. They share the same raw material and workmanship as our whole nests, cleaned by hand with no glue coating and no bleaching. Nutritionally the same and lower in price, they suit stewed dishes, food processing, and ready-to-eat or freshly stewed OEM.

Same house nests, different parts and forms
When whole nests are cleaned and graded, the thick pieces at the two ends are set aside as corners, and the broken pieces are pressed into fragments and nest cakes. They come from the same batches of house nests as our whole nests and are cleaned by hand in the same way. Nutrition and safety standards are the same. Only the form differs, and the price is lower, which makes them well suited to stewed dishes, confinement meals, ready-to-eat or freshly stewed OEM, and food processing.

Corners are the thicker, more tightly packed parts at the two ends of a bird's nest.
Because their structure is thick and firm, corners usually take longer to soak than whole nests and strips, and have a springier texture once stewed.

Our corners are sorted mainly by natural size:
· Medium-large corners
· Medium-small corners
Corners are not graded as 3A, 4A or 5A.
Medium-large and medium-small corners differ mainly in size and appearance. This does not mean their nutritional value is different.
Cleanliness of finished corners is about 96%–97%.
Because corners are thick and their strands tightly packed, cleaning and feather removal call for extra care.
The product may retain a very small amount of natural fine feathers or impurities. This is normal.
Fragments are the smaller strands and broken pieces that form while bird's nest is being cleaned, picked free of feathers, sorted and processed.
Although they do not have the shape of a complete whole nest, they are still bird's nest raw material, and suit customers who look for value for money and practical use.

Fragments are not graded as 3A, 4A or 5A.

Some fragments are tidied and shaped to make packing, transport and sale easier.
Cleanliness of finished fragments is about 97%–98%.
Because fragments are small, they can be cleaned and picked over more finely, so overall cleanliness is higher.

Corners:
We recommend soaking in purified or filtered water at room temperature for about 4–6 hours.
Fragments:
We recommend soaking for about 1–2 hours.
The actual soaking time can be adjusted to the thickness and size of the product and how far it has softened.
We recommend double-boiling.
Corners:
After soaking, we recommend stewing for about 30–40 minutes.
Fragments:
After soaking, we recommend stewing for about 15–25 minutes.
The actual time can be adjusted to the texture you prefer.

Where fragments are shaped, the tidying and shaping is mainly to make packing easier and to reduce loss. It does not involve using glue to add weight.
